VODA worked with city staff and planning personnel to develop a landscape site concept and construction documents for the expansion of an existing park and community center in the heart of South Salt Lake City.
The Columbus Center has been a vital hub of community activity for decades. With the acquisition of a long-desired adjacent property, the City was able to move forward with plans to expand the park space and outdoor programming around the Community Center.
VODA was engaged to develop a concept and schematic plan for the site to incorporate the desired elements in the landscape and to assist the city in moving forward with planning and financing a park expansion.
