With a simple and modern aesthetic, this home was designed around the constraints of an small lot in the Marmalade neighborhood of Salt Lake City. With such a small house footprint, the landscape space was maximized to create an extension of the indoor space of the house. A clean and simple plant palette frames the spaces, and creates “green walls” in key locations. The detached garage is topped with a green roof intended to lower the reflective heat of the structure, and improve the views from the indoor living spaces.
