VODA worked as lead urban designers on a team to create a new destination in downtown Salt Lake City. In conjunction with the construction of a regional performing arts center, the Eccles Theater, the Regent Street project aims to bring a new urban experience to the city in a unique setting.
The VODA team worked collaboratively with the design team and a wide range of stakeholders, both public and private. VODA also created an urban design guideline manual to steer all future development on the block, to further the On Regent brand.
With the completion of the Eccles Theater in 2016 and new development happening around the block, the vision and guidelines for Regent Street will impact the future experience of downtown Salt Lake City for years to come.
